Root Canal Treatment: Save the Tooth, Eliminate the Pain
When infection or deep decay reaches the pulp of the tooth (the inner part containing the nerves and blood vessels), inflammation develops that can cause intense pain. Professional root canal treatment allows us to clean the infection, eliminate the pain and save your natural tooth from extraction.
How It Works — Treatment Steps
Deep Local Anesthesia
We place special emphasis on full, controlled anesthesia to ensure the treatment proceeds with maximum comfort and no pain.
Access & Cleaning
Creating a tiny opening at the top of the tooth, through which the infected or necrotic nerve tissue is removed.
Disinfection & Canal Shaping
Using flexible, precise instruments for thorough cleaning, irrigation and deep disinfection of the narrow root canals.
Permanent Sealing
Filling the disinfected root canals with a special sealing material that prevents bacteria from re-entering, and closing the tooth with a temporary filling.
Benefits of Treatment at Our Clinic
Save Your Natural Tooth
Preserving your original tooth is always the first preference before turning to extraction and artificial replacements.
Immediate Pain Relief
Eliminating the source of infection and inflammation brings an end to persistent pain.
Prevent Spread of Infection
Protecting the jawbone and adjacent teeth from developing an abscess.
What to Expect After Treatment?
Once the anesthesia wears off, the body begins its natural healing process around the root area. It is completely normal to experience sensitivity or mild pain when chewing for 3 to 7 days. This can be managed easily with regular pain relievers. In most cases, following a root canal it is recommended to proceed with a post-and-crown to protect the tooth from fracture.
